  • Vinegaroons at BTS, who was selling them?

    Hi everyone,

I got a vinegaroon at the last BTS show (may 2010), but maybe i messed up on what it was being sold and didnt record who was selling them.... i thought i knew what species it was, but.., seems not.

Can anyone help me identify who was selling these?
It was a seller in the second hall (a trek away from the entrance), near the doorway to that second hall on the right side, while the BTS stand was on the left of that entrance. JMV was direct infront. The seller had several tarantulas, but then also other wierd things like very pretty Scolopendra and Damon whip-scorpions.

The vinegaroons were about 8-10cm and named as something that doesnt seem to exist when i look at the catalogs. Perhaps i got it wrong, does anyone else have a record of what name was given to these here?

Anyway, i think its one of the asian species, maybe a malaysian one. It would just be useful to know more about it.

Yeah, sounds like the chap who trades as Bugz UK, sells from wooden boxes if I'm thinking of the same bloke? I can never remember his name.

This is the link to his scorpions and whip-scorpions page on his site, there's a few "sp" on there ... might jog your memory Stuart.

Hey Stuart, could you post that name anyway?

Thankyou to everyone for those details, which amazingly converged, it was indeed Martin French, and Bugz-uk

Zoltan, i will try and send you a message about this.
              Thanks everyone!
