Can anyone tell me how many editions of "The tarantula keepers guide their are, and the dates of each publication? I have searched the net from top to bottom but i can not find this info!

As far as i'm aware there are 3 editions. The first published in 1984, the second in 1998 and the third in 2009. This site may be of interest to you http://people.ucalgary.ca/~schultz/spiders.html

TKG1: May 1984.

TKG2: May 1998.

TKG3: Spring (various months, depending on the country) 2009.

All are outstanding books... I have them all.. the first edition being my pride and joy.
as I got it a few years after starting keeping tarantulas. It was in my mind the best book on the subject at that time.

All you need is the latest version really, its updated and far superiour print quality then the original.

There were only 5,000 copies printed of edition #1, and they're now scarcer than hen's teeth. I had to steal my mother's copy so I could give it to a friend!

As much as i would like to trust the site in question where i sourced the first edition, it seems to good to be true. I hope that one day i might find a copy in an old dusty library.
