I doubt if anyone can even find the 'chatroom'...


1.What 'chatroom' ??? ( some of us are new here)

2. The only link i found to any chatroom had zero people in it...

3. Putting something like "Chatroom 1..Follow the intstructions" means nothing to anyone new to this board...

There is no clear indication to any chatroom...anywhere on this board...

Pointless...

Sorry if it seems harsh...but i would have liked to even be able to guess on where this chatroom even is...

If i have missed something obvious...then i 100% apologise..

But i think on where to find any chatroom connected to this board, needs a whole set of clearer instructions...

Hi DB,
the link to the chatroom is on the main BTS Homepage , on the left hand menu, click 'INTERACTIVE' and the drop down menu will display the various options, 'Chatroom 1' being one of them.

You will have to register first. You will be sent a email confirmation that will contain a link you must click on to activate your account. So a genuine email account is needed.

I think part of the problem is that many forum users come straight to the forum and by-pass the main homepage where all the info is.

DB sorry you feel that way but its is and always has been linked on the site under interactive, you have to use the very same menu to find this forum. Its just one button down.

However I take you comments on board and will make a IDIOT proof button on the header of the site.

Kims post was to let people know the chat room is open tonight and there are currently 8-9 of us chatting in there.

Yes I had a problem to find it too as the word Chatroom didn't jump out at me and kick me up the bum!

Plus there is no clear link to the homepage on the Forum page...( i now know its the image , top left)

Then, when you get there...there is no clear link to the 'chatroom'...( i also now know its under 'interactive' )

The forum was where i registered...and it was the link that brought me straight here...To the Forum and not the homepage....I used the search term 'Chile rose' and the first link i saw...i clicked...

The joys of using certain search engines...

Anyways..

The links to both the BTS hompage and the chat room are now in the header of this forum.

Yes I understand that seach engines may index the threads on this forum although they should not as I have blocked certain bots from spidering the forum, not all it seems!..

Anyway there now should not be a problem for anyone finding the forum in search enigine, and not then being able to find the BTS home pages and the chatrooms.

Also added is a how too catergory on this forum, this also should help people navigate around the whole site.

We have had a chat room on the site since the early days.

Also I have just finished the new look room this will be up and running for Saturday. We have tested it with a good group of people it seems stable enough to run with.
