Glad to see yours is not camera shy I get to see mine only if its dark usually and as soon as I touch the enclosure its a view of her backside waddling down her cave
Chris.
Hi Chris.
I cheated as I put only two inches of 50/50 peat & verm but she seems ok with it and I'll try and get a close up of her rump for you.
She will pos for pics maybe she wants to be a page three for tarantula monthly pmsl ..
I wouldn't worry about the moult too much if the conditions are right. Our little only fed when we left her alone coming up to the moult but then stopped for a couple of months. she didn't have much of a Bald abdomen just a few hairs missing but her colours did look really pale almost a light Beige but then you get a big fluffy pink T.
Oh she looks great ... can't wait now for beauty to get her pink..
I don't think Eupalaestrus guyanus &
Eupalaestrus spinosissimus are in England I've found some thing in a German forum no idea to what it is and nothing on them from usa.
So seems they were found and that was that :-/
Shame really.
Looks like she has just been flicking some hair thats all and as I said if she is eating then you will have to wait for a while until she comes anywhere near a moult.
As you got her from Mandy c (I think I read that somewhere) maybe she can tell you when she last moulted.

Chris.
I did that Chris and Mandy said six months ago..so I've had her one month tomorrow so that would be seven now.
And she don't kick hair from what I've seen...
unlike ruby my smithi that has a bald pink rear from kicking..
With beauty you can see black skin and the patches move up so there is gaps..But I'll wait for a lovely pink beauty lol.
How old is yours?.
Beauty is three to four!.
My girl molted I removed her old skin half hour ago and could still move the legs... It's now in a container.
She's in her hide washing.. her fangs have are white with black tips.
So I can now keep true records ..
I'm more than happy now and to top it three days ago we watched the wides avid eat a locust right in front of us on the glass door and it didn't leave a thing.
bad news...she isn't a she.. saw the hooks and pedipulps are all saying a mature male :-/
I've posted pics on arachiphiles showing his hooks.
So much for microscope sexing..
Going to have to find girls for him :-/
