            Hi all,

I got a Lasiodorides sp 'perou' = peru a couple of years back, which is now
a mature male, and i cant find anything to separate it from Thrixopelma. I also
got mine from two unique (but very friendly) frenchmen.

The iridescent blue you that shows on some of the photos is pretty fabulous, but
look at other Thrixopelma. The photo of the spermathecae (in the moult) also
looks like Thrixopelma puriens. If theyre not the same, to me, theyre relatively close,
and to me these are morphologically more like Thrixopelma than anything.

Of course, both Thrixoplema and Lasiodorides are messy genera.

Very intersting that you wrote this Stewart, since last posting, the said Female has moulted again and she certainly does have the Thrixopelma carapace markings... coming through much more prominent...
