  • a bit concerned

hi everyone i dont know if this is cause for concern but on the 20th of april this year my acanthosscurria geniculata molted the only time since i've had her. she's a very big girl and you'd think she would eat like a horse but it's quite the opposite. in fact i think she's probably only eaten 7 or 8 at the most since she molted. i often see her out and about although she does spend most of her time in her hide. im pretty sure she's drinking alright the waters changed every 2 or 3 days so it's always clean and fresh. i am a bit concerned about this or is this normal behaviour for these t's.

Hi Vincent, I've always found the Geniculata a good eater, our's loves Dubia Roaches, and would certainly eat more than she requires, I'd stay away from the locusts though, we lost an adult female to those things.

If she is not hungry she will not eat, thats it. If she is not thin there is nothing to wurry about.

                Hello Vincent,

she can be probably infected or other sick (can be of crickets) is she from nature? I prefer separate her of others specimens and waiting.

                cheers

                A.
