Nice article in November issue of Arachne, in which the author (Jeannette Schoesser) describes a successful treatment of DS in a Monocentropus balfouri and reports other successful cases from another spider enthusiast. It basically involves putting the spider in a little container and then straight onto the radiator during the day(under supervision, temperature around 53 C) for a few days and providing moist kitchen towels once a day for hydration. Worth a read I think as it describes the procedure nicely and it seems cheap and straightforward.
