  • probably a very stupid question, but...

as the title state's, this could be a stupid question but if i dont ask ill never know.
    here goes.
is fly paper harmfull to tarantulas?
i only ask because ive spotted a few fruitflys buzzin around my spare room and dont want them buggin me bugs. i know the t's will not come into contact with the fly paper but does it give of any fumes or toxins etc that could be harmfull?

To my knowledge it only has an attractant included in the "sticky stuff".

We have fly paper in the spider room with no issues, and also one hanging by a spider tub on a computer desk - again with no issues.

Not sure if there's an insectacide impregnated type of fly paper around but if there is - it would seem to defy to point of having a paper type in the first place as they're normally used where sprays and "gel types" are inappropriate.
