about sexing... (question)

Hello.
At my local store sellsman is telling me he got some spiders at age of l2-l4
and he already know their sex!?
so i would like to ask is it possible to sex T. Blondi at age of l2-l3?
and A. metallica at L4?
i heard that its very hard to tell is it male or female at such youn age but maybe im wrong?

SEXING TARANTULAS

As a holder of the BTS diploma for sexing theraphosids, I can only repeat what I learned under the great John Hancock when I did the course. It is USUALLY safe to sex tarantulas from the fifth moult onwards.
Blondi especially are not as easy as one might think, just because they are a large spider.

Ask the seller HOW he knows the sex. Did he sex them scientifically examining the shed skin under a microscope or did someone 'tell' him?

seller says hes "100%" sure about sex of his spiders ( ha says both of them are males ) asked how he know it he reply with
"i was checking it for 999~ times" hehe
i hardly can belive him but since he sounds so SURE about that i wanted to ask someone who knows more then both of us (seller and me )

Sexing tarantulas

He may say he checked it 999 times. The question to him is...HOW DID HE SEX IT?

The bottom line is you may have to make your own choice whether to believe him or not. If he is local you can tell him that if he is lying you will be back to ask him why.

Sometimes, you have to make your own judgement.
