  • Advice on a b smithi

    Hi everyone,

I was just looking for some advice, if anyone can help.

My b smithi seams to be happy enough eating and drinking.

I've noticed as he's gotten bigger his colouring is different on either half of his body. Is this normal/common? Will it affect breeding with him in the future?

It's not easy to see, but the right legs look black and the left ones have more of a sandy colour in between the orange bands. Even when he's due for a moult they still look a lot lighter than the right ones.

He is absolutly fine Vicki. There is often a colour variation in individualss. Dont panic when he is ready to mate he will be OK.

Ah thats good to know. Thank you, Ray. He's such a lovely little grumpy thing, it's would be a shame if that wasn't passed along.
