  • Male/Female ratio's

I don't know if it just me, but all i seem to be able to raise is males! Ive only had two spiders molt into females (Avic sp. and H.Livdium) the rest i bought as sub adult females or already mature. I'm in no way complaining, just a bit miffed lol. So far I've had my P.Irmina, B.Vagans, C.Darlingi,E.Uatuman, P.Regalis molt into MM and my H.Albostriatum looks like going the same way.

Does a Tarantula's environment dictate the sex? Or do some people just have a knack for breeding males? Could be the first Tarantula stud farm lol

There is a cynical way of looking at this (sorry)
There's sellers that will notice from a moult the a spider is male and sell it on as unsexed ... just for financial reasons.
