    hi guys, i just bin over to petcity for frozen mice n stuff an saw a golden knee for £20, couldnt resist. my question is what is the scientific name???
    G. pulchripes
    or
    G. aureostriata

    i looked round on the net for care sheets n stuff and it comes under both
    thanx

    The chaco golden knee is Grammostola pulchripes formerly known as Grammostola aureostriata.

        Imo dont buy it from the petshop because it is most likely wildcought. If you really want a G. pulchripes buy a captive bred from a hobbyist or a good dealer, they are very common so it would not be a big problem to find one.

            Her small is probably small sling.
            Ive heard too many reports from different people that her sizes are much different to everyone elses.
            Almost like she uses cm to our inches LOL
