    Hi every one.


    I'd like to know How many of this Species is kept in the hobby and are they all alike in temperament and personality?...
    A.*acuminata*- A.*antillensis*- A.*atrox*- A.*aurita*- A.*bollei*- A.*borealis*- A.*brocklehursti*- A.*chacoana*- A.*chiracantha*- A.*convexa*- A.*cordubensis*- A.*cunhae*- A.*cursor*- A.*ferina*- A.*fracta*- A.*geniculata*- A.*gomesiana*- A.*guaxupe*- A.*hirsutissimasterni*- A.*insubtilis*- A.*juruenicola*- A.*maga*- A.*melanotheria*- A.*minor*- A.*musculosa*- A.*natalensis*- A.*parahybana*- A.*paulensis*- A.*pugnax*- A.*rhodothele*- A.*rondoniae*- A.*simoensi*- A.*sternalis*- A.*suina*- A.*tarda*- A.*theraphosoides*- A.*transamazonica*- A.*urens*- A.*violacea*- A.*xinguensis


    And are they all around the same size?.

      Ive heard of only 10 on that list and personly kept
      7 of them.

          There will be other people who will have kept more species than me . .most definately ! ! !
          I can only tell you what I have experienced myself and by no means am I an expert in any way, shape or form.
          Moderately experienced, probably yes. An expert, definately not.

              well I have found this Acanthoscurria juruenicola on the net lol.
              It looks ok info wise not too much.
              As for the rest of Acanthoscurria I'll give up as I only now know of three.

                There are a few that pop up every now and then, especially on the German breeders lists (Michael Scheller, Thomas Vinnman for example)

                These are the species that are sometimes about . . . brocklehursti, chacoana, insubtilis, juruenicola, natalensis.

                I got 3 or 4 brocklehursti juvs at the BTS last month (cant remember exactly how many)

                  Acanthoscurria atrox - *Mato Grosso Red Rump
                  Acanthoscurria brocklehursti - Giant Black & White
                  Acanthoscurria chacoana - Bolivian Red Rump
                  Acanthoscurria genticulata - Giant White Knee
                  Acanthoscurria insubtilis - Bolivian White Knee
                  Acanthoscurria juruenicola - Brazilian Orange Banded
                  Acanthosurria musculosa - Black Velvet
                  Acanthoscurria natalensis - Natal Brown Birdeater
                  Acanthoscurria species - *Paraguay Beauty
                  Acanthoscurria sternalis - Argentina Black Rump
                  Acanthoscurria suina - Rusty Brown Birdeater

                  So that gives me some idea of what colour is what lol
