  • Anatomy of the Fort Hall Baboon

    Hello there,

I have noticed that on my Fort Hall Baboon (Pterinochilus lugardi) There are two small spikes just below the spinnerets. They are small and seem to have no purpose. Does anyone know what they are?

    Kind Regards,

    Matthew

    Hi,
They're a second pair of spinnerets. All tarantulas have 4 spinnerets: 2 big ones & 2 small ones.
