I mated my AF Genic today, thought I'd share some photos of the event.
I shark tanked the male 6 days ago as I believe that this increases the males chances of surviving the mating due to the female getting used to the male. (This is only my opinion but it works for me.)
I'm rubbish at writing articles so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
The male just let out of the 'shark tank', he stayed stationary in this spot for about 15 minutes

Slowly approaching the females shelter

At the entrance he started drumming for a few minutes before slowly entering and then backing out and then going back in. He looked like that he was trying to entice her out as there wasnt enough room inside for the job at hand.

I then slowly and carefully lifted the flowerpot up so that the male could get full access to the female as there obviously wasnt enough room in the original position.

There was then a bit of a tussle and they both ran to the end of the faunarium, I thought that she was trying to eat him at this point.

The female slowly retreated back to her retreat and after a few minutes the male very slowly followed her

As the male got closer, the female started drumming with the front 4 legs. The male seemed to get confident at this point and just walked up to her and started drumming back to her.

and then the serious up close and personal stuff started

at this point I was starting to get a crick in my neck so i laid on the floor

The total time elapsed was 54 minutes from start to finish and the male is now tucking in to a nice juicy roach in celebration of his survival
