  • Grammostola pulchra (Brazilian Black) moult pics

As promised on the Facebook page, here are the moult pics. Unfortunately....due to my 3 shattered discs and sitting on the floor for 3 hours , I also ended up flat on my back waggling my legs about, stranded like a turtle (not unlike Mr T !!)

What I would like to know is, how the hell do they cram all that body in to that little exoskeleton?
That is the first moult I've watched, I was fascinated but I'm now crippled LOL

Im going to have to show those pictures to my fat piggy because I think she has forgotten how to moult

If you ever own a Poecilotheria then be amazed at the size difference between moults quite scarey to find a monster sized spider instead of the cute little money spider.

Just noticed you do own one lol.

Funny you should say that, but when I came home not too many nights ago....a MASSIVE (in comparison) P. striata, with a damn bad attitude, was sat where my little cutesie ickle sling was when I left. !!
