  • Leg injury

    Hi

I noticed yesterday that my pulchra has a little bit of blood clotting on his leg. He is moving about okay and the leg doesn't seem to be bleeding. I can only assume he fell - although his enclosure isn't high and the only thing in there he could have injured himself on is the flat bit of bark he uses as a hide.

Is there anything I can do to assist my T? I will have to have a closer look at him tonight to see if there is any further damage as he wouldn't come out of his hide this morning.

    Thanks

There is nothing that you can do apart to make sure that the 'blood' isnt still flowing. If it is just sprinkle something to make it clot (flour ?). If the damage is bad the spider MAY shed the leg but it will grow back although this may take several moults.
