  • Mole Crickets as Feeders?

hey guys, i found these mole crickets in our backyard.. at first, i am curious of what are they. i check the net and found out that they are mole crickets. here is my question.. is the mole cricket a good food for a tarantula? i cant find the specific nutritional value of these insects. if they are good food, then i will try to breed them.. thanks!

I'm guessing that you are from the US ?
Mole crickets are extremely rare in the UK so i cant tell you about them first hand but from what i have read about them, I wouldnt personly try and feed them to my T's. Looking at the size of the front legs and their mandibles, I wouldnt like to get bit by one and I would imagine that they could do so serious damage to a spider.
