    Homeomma sp blue large

    I was finally lucky enough to get one of these after missing out on the last one on sale at TSS back in June hopefully arriving on Tuesday can't wait

    It has been confirmed as an adult female which has me even more excited

    I understand from researching that these were re classed as Thrixipelma lagunas in 2010 just want to one make sure this is correct before relabelling her or will leave as Homeomma sp large blue and secondly is there any known males around in the uk to mate her with?

    I know from the research that this spider is very confusing in the area of ID which may make finding a male that bit more difficult

    But such a stunning spider and doesn't seem to be many available would love to breed and make it more accessible can't wait for it to arrive and share some photo's believe this is more antipacipated than my first P metallica!

    In the event I am lucky enough to find a male is their any particular breeding info available or experiences with this lovely T people can share as I know this was a once popular and common T back in the day

    Got my H sp blue large today ended up a freebie as it appears to be walking funny it's similar to when a T is dehydrated and waddles but it's legs are straight up to the knee and from the knee to the body is where it seems stiff and causes the waddle where it doesn't seem to be able to stretch out

    Lee at the spider shop believes it may be a nervous disorder of some kind and is why he refunded the money. He said it may rectify after a moult but can't be certain if it will

    She is still a beauty and can still move about quite quickly but looks like a real awkward waddle fingers crossed a mout will sort it out.

    Has anyone else come across this with any other T? Did it rectify itself or continue its life being special I love this T regardless and it's waddle gives it a unique character of its own but very curious to learn more about her condition and if it helps will try and upload a video not sure if I can do that on this forum but with permission will try and upload to the BTS Facebook page

    Hope someone can shed some light with what's wrong with her such a great T definatly one of my favourites

      if it's dehydration, just keep providing a nice drink...
      i once had to do this by hand with a Chilobrachys female that was languishing...5 days with a decent amount of water being poured over her mouth and she eventually perked up.

        Thanks for your reply James sadly it doesn't seem to be dehydration

        Ive put up a photo and a video on the BTS facebook page so far it's believed to be a result of a bad molt in transit where it didn't have room to stretch and one said may be DKS but majority so far say bad moult so hopefully rectify next molt which appears to be approaching

        If you have the time to take a look and comment on Facebook it would be appreciated
