5 days ago my RCF laid a sac..... I was going to let mum take care......... But she has stopped carry it around. and just left it.........

Generally if the female leaves the sac then it has gone bad. You could open the sac and try to incubate any good eggs (if any) yourself. -

As long as she is going back to it regularly I would be inclined to leave it with her.Comment

Maybe, maybe not. Females do tend to look after sacs quite religiously but as long as she hasn't well and truly abandoned it then I would leave it with her, especially at this very early stage.Comment
