BTS continues to go mobile with forum runner and mobile chat

The BTS has strived over the years to keep up with all the latest information technologies and of course how user
access the BTS website and forums.

We added the Tapatalk plugin last year, we also updated our chat server to work with iPhones and iPads and other mobile devices.

Now we are please to say we have added Forumrunner support, this latest plugin built into the VBulletin program is fast, and has many features.

Also worth noting is that forum runner supports push notifications

Apologies for any outages, at the moment several large complicated upgrades are happening, this is to continue our mandate to make the BTS site more mobile device friendly


ongoing and completed work

Upgrade to the 4.2 CMS - done
Upgrade to latest version of Gallery software - done (adds iPhone and Android viewing) Ongoing almost complete.
Upgrade to mobile chat system - Completed and working (direct links coming in mobile CMS version)
Upgrade to new classifieds system - Completion in a few days.

BTS classifieds have been updated. they are fully mobile now.

The Gallery has mobile issues which I am told will be fixed with the next version.

The themes are being updated soon, so for now its the generic one.

Please note that the forum is also mobile friendly without using the tapatalk or forum runner plugins. At the base of the forum is the theme chooser, select mobile
