I can't believe it. I noticed yesterday that one of his feet was injured - he'd been clambering all over the tank and I guess he must have got it stuck somewhere or maybe he had a previous injury that was re-opened, I don't know. But I could see that there was some fluid coming out of it, so I tried flour first and then when that didn't stop it I used nail hardener to seal the wound, then I put him in an ICU; but when I went to see how he was a few hours later he was in the death curl and was slumped forward not moving at all. He hasn't responded to any stimulus whatsoever. I'm so cut up. I was looking forward to years of looking after him
