  • Grammastola Pulchripes " Dancing " after catching prey.Is my sling ok?

Hello.I'm probably going to look really stupid here, but I've just fed my sling a cricket tonight.He/she moulted successfully over 2 weeks ago,and has had a cricket around 6 days after moulting which he/she took normally.I fed he/she tonight with a cricket, and he/she nailed it,then began to gyrate like it was dancing??? Is this normal behaviour? If it is,then what does it mean....?...More importantly,if it isn't...what should i do?Thank you for your help.Kind regards.Paul

Yep quite normal, its usually called the feeding dance.
Almost all (if not all) tarantulas do it at one time or another.

Type "tarantula feeding dance" into Google and/or Youtube and watch the fun LOL
