fies in crickets

hi there.

i have recently been away for a few days and i had left some cucumber in with the crickets. usualy i put a few small pices about 1/4 of an inch square every 2 weeks or so, but i usualy take them out after a day if anything is left, on by return i noticed alot of little flies in with the crickets. i have removed the reminance of any cucumber and released all the flies. my question is is it still safe to feed my t these crickets or should i buy some more??

If you are worried just dump the crickets for your own piece of mind, after all crickets arent exactly expensive are they ?

Be careful about releasing some crickets...I have some that shouldn't be released into the wild in the UK. I'm sure they are being a little over reactive, but better to be safe than sorry.

But as said, if worried, get some more.
