Howdi all
Just wondering how many of you out there have a Salmon Pink that's over 25 or 30 years old. I've had my old dear for over 21 years and she's still going strong. Just recently bought a few more spiderlings as I have room now to increase my collection again.
Next question.....has there always been a shortage of Theraphosa blondi spiderlings? Over the years when I look on many online forums and shops they are always juvenile or adult.
Next - why are shops still selling wild caught specimens? This to me totally goes against trying to preserve what is out there in the natural world and promoting the hobby through captive breeding. I will never knowingly buy a wild caught tarantula - always slings for me...much more fun to see them go from a few mm to the size of your hand!
Cheers
Scott
