  • P.Ornata with a "dead" leg

I have a 13cm P.ornata that molted a week ago. I now notice that her leg 4 seems to be "dead" now that she has started moving around. The leg looks fine, same size as the other leg 4, but she is basically dragging it along and when she sits on the glass the leg droops towards the ground.

Will this leg be repaired on the next molt like when T's regenerate limbs?

Yes, it should replace it. Obviously keep an eye on her, but she should be fine.

As Phil as suggested a moult (or 2) should ensure a lovely new leg. Its quite likely she'll discard the leg at some point but tarantula can seal the joint to reduce loss of hemolymph (blood).
