  • Just some help with my 1st arboreal!

    Hiya Guys and Gals,

I have had this H.Mac for some time now (2-3 months) and I have set up what I would hope to think a lovely home for this feisty little creature, but i'm just not sure about the room he/she has and how an arboreal species molts.

Attached I have some pictures of the set up that he/she has been in for the time I have kept it.
Any other tips/comments would be appreciated also

( I have kept T's for about 2 years now all terrestrial so not a complete novice )

    Thank you all

Re: Just some help with my 1st arboreal!

Firstly, well done for photographing it...I never see my H. Mac, lol

It does look as little tight in there (although mine manages to squeeze herself into a tiny hole), but it is difficult to tell from the photos.

Mines only about 2 - 3 inches, but these pics show how much room she's got.

There's plenty there for her to 'run around in', if she wanted to.

Also, with the moult, don't worry too much...they know what they are doing. Those pics I posted are a before and after, she managed a moult in the tiniest of places.

I'm sure she'll be fine. And thank you.

How big is the tank that it is in ?

Any pics of the entire tank so that any space can be seen ?

I have an AF in a sweet jar and there's plenty of room for her to moult. (twice so far)
