    Are there many of these about in the hobby? i quite fancy one, if you have a nice photo to share please post one so i can have a good look.....

    There are plenty of images of this species online here just do a quick search. As for are there any about at this time for sale, not sure

      Thanks Mark, i wasn't sure about the name if they was Defoe one and the same, i noticed your thread in 2008 http://thebts.co.uk/forums/showthrea...andalfs-bridge and this one also, http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forum...55-post15.html...this one too http://giantspiders.com/forum/viewto...08cd6d98362fd6 i realized they are old post, and thus things are no doubt being revised so i searched for the Gandalfs Bridge.... actually i saw this https://sites.google.com/site/asiana...chiluseveretti after posting recently in one of peters threads, a stunning tarantula, this site doesn't show it as being previously know as, or recently changed to, and is described by pocock 1895...of course i am not able to get the scientific papers on specific research for species, i guess i am a bit behind the times on this lol.

        Spidershop just had them in stock, They were there for quite a while too! Going by the name Sarawak earth tiger I believe.
