  • Question about adding water

    Hi.

I have a question about adding water frequently to my T's enclosures. I will be starting a new job soon that requires me to be away from home for 3 weeks, so I was wondering if my two spiders can go this long without a "Top Up" ?

Obviously, I will be adding water to my Chilean Rose's water dish during the week I am at home, but I also have a baby Mexican Red Knee that only requires a short spraying of water to the side of the enclosure. It's the baby I am more concerned about because I don't want it to have molting problems when I'm away.

I was thinking about adding a second water dish to my Rose so that she has extra water, but what can I do about the baby red knee?

    Thanks

I have slings, juvies and adults grown from slings that have never even seen water.
If the B smithi sling substrate is slightly damp and it is well fed then I wouldnt worry about it too much.

If you add an extra water dish to the rosea, all it will do is evaporate the same.
Just add water as normal before you leave and give it a good feed if it will eat and it will be OK.
