Hi guys its about my Brachypelma Smithi again,
My B Smithi has burried its self in its hide, I know about molting but my B Smithi has now
been like this for 15 days .
All I want to know is is this normal and should I continue to
    leave it alone.

    Hi David.

Yes it is very normal and yes you should leave it alone until it comes out of its own accord.

Sometimes it is very hard to forget that they dont need to eat or even move for weeks at a time unlike us mammals.

For a tarantula species like a Brachypelma, not eating for a month is like your dinner being 15 minutes late

If it is still hidden away in another 3-4 months time, THEN you can ask again.

This is why many people have many difference species at once because when one or two are hidden away you will have a greater chance of seeing one out and about

Just to make you fell slightly better . .I have 3 T's that have been hidden away for almost 26 months (and counting !!)
