Hello people,

Last night my Vietnam Black done something very odd. It shed its skin while standing upright! Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Aye, though i've never seen it myself. A friend of mine had a chile rose moult in the upright position as well, but he paniced and put it on it's back. Also i've read about it in a few books as well, can't remember the titles from the top of my head though.

Over the years I have had serveral species do this, all have been fine. Its very strange to watch, however you must never be tempted to turn your tarantula over during this time.

I had my Colouratovillosum moult standing up, only once though, she's done it properly since, very strange to see, but facinating as we have all seen them do it upside down, or is moulting standing up upside down? You tell me!!!
