Interesting, but I would like to know whether the females that didn't eat the male were fed an additional amount equal to the male.

IE: I assume with these kinds of experiments they feed each spider exactly the same to ensure the results are comparable......

Even more interesting is how I managed to read the article and put together lucid sentences at that time on new years eve! I only have a vague recollection of posting something on here which is why I came to check this morning lol
