I could be wrong, but it sounds an awful lot to me like the spider is preparing to moult. Moving it might not have been the best idea. Best thing to do is leave her be. A pic might help.

It has lost its colour and sluggish because it is about to moult, there is nothing wrong. Thats what they do.

So what would you expect from an Avic ?

ps. The suntigers scientific name is Psalmopoeus irminia which means that it is NOT an Avicularia.

Hi! Don't worry: as you said, this place is a place to learn and share advices, not sarcastic comments! It's always difficult to interpret a comment in the right way on the net / forums / emails (maybe you feel the comment was sarcastic, but it's not sure it was)... Sometimes, specialists here are worried a little because some people take a T without knowing anything about them and might harm them. But if you are here, it means you want to learn, then it's good! Welcome!

Forums on the net are interesting. But books are too. If you have the opportunity to read "The Tarantula Keepers Guide" (3rd ed) by Schultz & Schultz, it's the best book on the subject I think. It'll give you plenty of informations on your T.
