chilen rose not seen in week

my rose has been in her den sealed up for at least 8 days,no bad smell, don't want to disturb her by digging if this is normal.Anybody have advice. thank you

Hi John.

More than likely she has sealed herself off in order to have a moult. How old is the spider? Do you know for definite that it is a female? Older specimens can hide away for weeks when in pre-moult and Grammostola rosea can go a couple of years without eating sometimes so I wouldn't worry too much.

Start to worry in about 18 months if you havent seen it

thanks for the advice, don't know for sure if its female,have no idea how old, bought at pet store and they didn't know much
