Chaco "Gammy leg" advice

Hi all I'm new to the forum and new to the wonderful world of Ts...I've recently purchased a Chaco about 2" ..and it seems to have one leg less developed than the rest...it's virtually hairless and still translucent...do you think it has lost or damaged its leg in a previous molt? And will it ever regenerate fully ? it still has full use of it.... Thanks in advance

It sounds as though it is regenerating, given time it will be good as new.

excellent !!! thankyou....will I need to take any extra precautions at the next molt ? or is it best to just let be ?? ...just want to make sure im doing my best for the little one

No nothing special to do, it will grow with each moult until normal,.. tarantulas are wicked creatures!!
