A question about growth.

This may seem like a stupid question and yes I am a novice so I'm just learning.
I got my first tarantula a few weeks ago, a juvenile B. Smithi. S/he hasn't moulted yet, but I could swear s/he looks bigger, slightly in body size and slightly in leg span. Do tarantulas display any growth between moults and does the exoskeleton have any give in it at all or is their size fixed until the following moult?

Has you're T feed & been drinking! As S/he could have been a little dehydrated & it may give the impression that S/he has put on size!
