    MY P . RUFILATA HAD MOULTED 4 WEEKS AGO.SINCE THEN IT HAS NOT EATEN.THE MOULT WENT FINE.THE HUMIDITY IS AROUND 80 %.THE TEMPERETURE IS 20-25 DEGREE C.I PUT EACH TIME A CRICKET OR A BUG AND THEN REMOVE IT BUT IT DOES NOT EAT.
    I WANT A REPLY FROM SOME ONE WHO HAVE THIS SPECIE ,IS IT NORMAL FOR RUFILATA TO GO ON FOOD STRIKE ?

    What size/age is the spider?
    It's certainly not uncommon for them to take over four weeks to recover, just be patient and remove any un-eaten prey and try agin a week or so later. Make sure the spider has access to water at all time though and if possible, check the underside to see if there's any obvious problems with the mouth/fangs etc.
