  • Crickets in small quantities?

Hello all, I currently own 2 tarantulas, neither of whom are particularly big eaters. They probably only take 1 cricket/small locust a week each.
My point being that I dont want to buy a box full of live food.
Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase crickets or locusts in smaller quantities, say 4 or 5 at a time?

My local exotics shop sells locusts singly - do any others? But crickets and mail-order livefood... I don't have a clue.

My own personal opinion is, find a friend who keeps insectivorous arthropods or herptiles, and blag a couple of crickets off them.
Or, keep the crickets. Feed them bits of fruit and cereal, as per cricket-breeding articles; but keep them cool, so they don't grow or 'burn out' so quickly. A tub of crickets should keep for a few weeks, and should be a little more nutritious thanks to whatever you feed them.
    Or, buy more tarantulas.

as far as I'm away you can only get them in tubs from pet shops.

just do what I did to save the food and either get more T's or put the crixks in there won tank and feed them
