G.rosea in need of a new skin

Im aware she needs a molt but shes taking her time!

Looking closely its like her skin is peeling,looks weird!

Do they do it in the open or will she go off and disappear for a while?

i Have a G.rosea my self and it relly depends on your tarantula.
Some will hide for a day or so.
Most will make a small layer of silk on the floor and then moult on that this can be layed anywhere out in the open or down in her hide.
But you will notice when she has

We wathced the Tegenaria molt last night which was really cool, first time I'd seen that!
I showed it to my T and said, 'oy, thats how you do it!'
