Here is a quick shot of my 6cm Curly Hair (Brachypelma albopilosum) just to show you how big her abdomen is.....



And here is a blur shot of a 5cm chaco golden knee (Grammostola aureostriata) but it shows the gold

Hi Dan, just picked up an aureostriata sling (about 2.5cm) if that's what they look like at 5cm then i'm well happy. I though they didn't show their colour like that untill later.
And yes....what a fatso !!!! what on earth does she eat ??

I see what you mean about the big abdomin lol.

Your G. aureo is lovely. Mine is only about 1.5cm at the moment so not showing any colours. How long did it take for yours to get to 5cm? I cant wait until mine gets that big.

Hey cheers for the comments...
Colin= I give her 3-5 crickets per week and she eats them all at once.....sometimes she has 5 adult cricks in her mouth.... I 'll take a pic when she next does it.

Elaine= I got her/him at 2cm and within a year to get to this size ( they are quite slow growers but amazing tarantulas.
