Very nice,i'm not too familiar with this genus and if I didn't know what it was I'd say it was like a cross between a Brachy and a A.geniculata.

Lovely spider! This is a species I've not really looked at before, I think I've been missing out.

Well that's confirmed it, I have one with a LS of at least 3". He's a right little escape artist, escaping 3 times since I've had him. He spends most of his time in his burrow but he's quite impressive when he goes walkabouts. (I say he/him although I don't know what sex it is yet).

I was looking after the one I've got for one of my daughter's work colleagues, but I wasn't entirely happy with the set up the guy had him in so I got my daughter to chuck 20 quid under his nose and I kept him. He's been much happier since I moved him into his new home. He originally wanted 30 quid for him but we both thought that was too much. I told her to tell him the other tenner was for the cost of the food and such lol.

Temperament is rather skittish, but not defensive at all. Anything knocks the tank and shes back in the hide like a shot. But apart from that is out 80% of the time, and a REALLY good eater. The only downside is she likes to dump, both the bollus *spelling* and poo in the water bowl!!!

Neil I havent sexed 'her ' yet as the molt was shredded by the time she dupmed it out of the hide.
