There is a very distinct dark shading on the carapace, which my burmese lividum lacks, but my dark form has??

Both the C sp"Mechalla" and C elegans are great species. If you have a chance to get them, jump on it.
The C elegans are sooo cute
A big reason why I love taking pictures of my T's so much is because I like to see how they change. I try to get a picture of each one after a molt.
The lighting is tricky at times. I usually snap a hole bunch of pictures before I find one I like.
