Aye it is indeed , the old earth tigers were exceptionally well behaved when Mrs David Bailey was clicking away . Think the only one's that gave her the run around was the H. Maculata and the C. Shioedtei was very graceful but was in threat posture at one point (The lumps she had has gone too but there is a bald white spot on her abdomen where it was) , the rest were perfectly behaved . Yeah i think my attention has been firmly grabbed by the Asian species now.

cheers colin, slowly getting there, the one of the Pokie is my fave... even if it did bite me finger!

I made a make shift tent using the kids dinnertable on its side, a white sheet, and put the light unit from the scorpion tank on the top. Not forgetting the DIY foil covered cerial box card at the sides. not perfect but not bad for a DIY tabletop studio lol! Blue Peter and ya sticky back plastic... eat ya heart out lmao!

Well I personally have been scorpions on and off for about 10 years now. Had plenty of tags and pinches along the way.

I'm more scared of the Tarantula's running off than actually biting me! But with having such a wide range of scorpions i've learned a few tricks to keep the juvi tarantula's in place to get a few shots. Holding your breath helps lmao!

But while our Matthew is cleaning the tubs out it's great to have the opportunity to get a proper pic of them. Although most people think i am absolutely BONKERS for getting this collection to pose for me! But hey I like a challenge!

                            Pokies are dangerous.
Once you buy one, you want them all
                            They are very addicting.

It was taking a picture of the red slate, as well as seeing all the ones at the leeds show that made me think... I WANT!

They look beautiful in photo's but nothing prepares you when you see them in real life, they take your breath away.. well they did for me anyway.

I really need to get out more lmao!!! I've fallen in love with scorpions and tarantula's!
