      • wow, your GBB is gorgeous, what lovely deep colouring!

How old is she? I have a 2 month old 2nd instar who we got 2 days ago. She doesnt seem to like her environment. I have her on coir substrate, but she just wanders round the top of her tub, wont walk on the substrate. She goes into her hide but only on the inside of the roof of it, not on the floor. Will she settle down once the substrate dries out a little more?

Thank you for any help you can give me

        • Yes it will take more then a couple of days to settle in. He's begin to web all over the place. Very good display tarantulas. Gbb's are great feeders too. I've found that they prefer dryer dubstrate.

                  • I find that they would rather run then fight. But I have had mine strike at my feeding tongs a couple of times. Over all tho he's happy to come out of his burrow for a picture without making a break for it.
