    Male tarantulas can grow at silly rates even when kept quite cool in some cases, we tend to keep our males a little cooler if we have a female that's either around the same size or just plain slow at growing just to try and get the two at maturity around the same time, as you can imagine it sometimes doesn't work the way it's intended and the male matures quicker than expected.

    I think you should just keep him as he is and let nature take it's course, there'll be females waiting for him when he matures even if you don't have a female ready yourself dont worry.
    Don't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
