    This is one of 2 that I have both have now been moved to larger enclosures.



    and like everybody says they are hair flickers but make up for it with their beauty

      Good luck with your breeding project Maria.
      The thing with the hair flicking is you know they are going to do it so you are prepared for it.
      One of mine has just gone into pre-molt.

              They fade to a straw colour after a while but I have 2 and the other one moulted yesterday 30/4/10 so have bright orange again for a month

              I like Virgina Cheeseman's common name for this species "Mexican Beauty" as most Mexican Brachypelma's are leg this or knee that lol.

                Ive usually seen them as mexican firelegs. I like that, although it still has a 'leg' in it, i like the fire bit.

                  Yes thats the excepted common name and it suits them doesnt it.
                  Guess thats the curse of common names especially local pet shop names where you could end up with god knows what
