Hi Tony,
Nice little collection of spiders.
From the photos though (and i know picture ID isn't the best method)......
The E. truculentus "Bella" looks more in line with G. porteri (normal colour form of G. rosea)
The G. rosea "Rita" has a blackened carapace and patella/tibia markings indicating Grammostola sp. "Concepcion"
The G. pulchra "Betty" is stunningDon't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.

Hi Tony, will post the reply below from t'other 'un so people can follow it here too ok
You asked what a common name was for G porteri and where the Sp "Concepcion" fitted in
G. porteri may just as well be called "Chilli rose" "Rosehair" or similar.
Grammostola sp. "Concepcion" is commonly called a "Chilli red Zebra" i'm reliably informed by my better half. Taxonomically they sit being keyed out to be of the Genus Grammostola and hail from around Concepcion in Chilli, they've not been fully described yet so are still just known as a "species"
PM me any time mate.Don't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.

Thanks Colin I follow.
Just to add to the info for others, I'm trying to work with common, given & scientific names for my daughter Ebony (who's 6). She is learning the scientific names fine but the common & given names are easier for her when talking to her friends / teachers & other family members. I've already done a show & tell at her primary school for it's reception year using 4 of the T's & one with my daughter last week using all eight to the year 5s.0.1.0 B.smithi "Ruby"

Same with my son Tony. He is in reception and i took my adult female and 2 slings in a few weeks ago. He is learning the given and scientific names and if i talk about Lola being a chile rose he corrects me with "no mummy, you mean Grammastola rosea"......Being corrected by a 4 year old!
Lovely T's by the way. Really hope my pulchra sling turns out as gorgeous as Betty!
