hello everyone!! new to this forum! i love everything arachnid but unfortunately laws in new zealand wont allow me to import a tarantula as we have none naturally residing here. although we do have a couple of trapdoor species! so i thought i would share them enjoy

this one and one other sling i keep in a pot, from my experience finding them the burrows are remarkably shallow and the spiders are quite happy to burrow horizontally if they have to. i also have a much larger terrarium with maybe 40cm of substrate depth which is ample for even the adults
