  • Ruby,my arachnophobia 'cure'

She's not been much of a cure,I'm still scared of spiders and at times scared of her. Since her last moult she's become one of those psycho g.roseas, its not all bad though as she is a great feeder. Despite her attitude problem the little hairy horror will be with me for keeps.

My adult female rosea produces similar behaviors. She bites to everything that's moving close to her. I can't believe that is this a great peacefull species of tarantulas.

Haha, she sounds just like this girl. She's attacks the brush if I try to herd her, attacked pouring water and went through a phase of pouncing on her water bowl when I went to remove it. Tarantula tug of war wasn't something I ever planned on playing! Hoping her behaviour will improve after her next moult

I suspect that can be couse she wants to reproduce. She weaves a lot signal webs around in the enclosure. But just an assumtion. I try to find her a mate after her next moult.
