Pink toed T????

i've had mine a while now and mine still has'nt webbed she mostly sits at the top of a lump of bark or on the mesh bit of her viv but i've noticed she's more active since i swopped to thick layer of vermiculite and capped off with chip bark..
wat i did notice other day which freaked me out was i went in room and put light on to see her face down in her water bowl, as you can imagine i ran over, lifted lid sharpish cos i thort she was dead. which she was'nt too impressed about coe she freaked out big style..
i was a bit strange to see a T upside down with it's head in a water bowl..

just thort i'd share that with you....

what about feeding her???

yhe drilling is soo much easier and quicker than a heated nail or wire takes ages ventilaing an avics home like that

Drilling holes is just as quick if not quicker. Using a hot nail is a good idea but takes longer in my opinion. My own preffered method is as little of both really I use a soldering iron to burn holes much easier and safer than heating a nail with a flame and waiting to heat up without it going to your hand.

I use a long knitting needle for melting my holes.

she has started to shed she cocooned herself into a corner and stayed for a few days when I came down this morning she looked like she had started to shed when I got home tonight her skin looks shiney and theres somthing which I take is her old skin or part of it behind her so I shall wait and see what happens over night will she stay cocooned in until her body has hardened??

She may or may not have a wander about after the moult. Whetever she decides to do, give her 7-10 days to harden up, and then offer her some food. If she hasn't taken it within 24 hours then remove it and try again a few days later.

Sorry i have been very busy ,

Ventilation i recomend a large area of the lid cut away and a piece of car repair gauze (found in most motorist shops for around £1.25) taped or glued in place.

I read your spider has moulted, very good, she will soon be looking for a safe palce to retire, this is where thebamboo or cork tubing commes into place.
